We are in a period of strong growth and I believe it will not stop. I believe that now is a time for the Church to step up and step out behind the four walls of the building and make Jesus Christ known to all. In these hard times when our economy isn't doing well, remember God's economy is always up. When hard times fall on you, remember God is still and always will be on the throne. Something I always like to say is that we have the atmospheric presence of Jesus Christ in us and when the atmoshere in this world is not right then we as Christians should bring the right atmoshere out into this world. I wrote today to give you a word of encouragement that God has got you in the palm of His hand so stop fighting the hand that is holding you. They will be coming more frequently now. I just wanted to talk a little bit on focusing our spiritual lenses. Last Wednesday night I shared with the teens an experience that I had while driving to school on Tuesday evening. I was on my way when I spotted a Dairy Queen which I might add has really great shakes. I pulled through the drivethru and ordered the biggest caramel shake they had. "Are you getting hungry yet?" The lady in the window told me it was $4.17. I was amazed on how much it was. Anyways I continued on towards school when I saw a homeless man in a wheel chair holding a sign and he looked like he was yelling at people in their cars. This is when I regret my actions. I was at a light and I was holding my $4.17 shake that I did not need and I was ignoring the man. I proceeded to move because the light was green and in my rear view mirror I noticed a young man about my age walk up to the man in the wheel chair and hand him a bag of water and gatorade and at this point the man in the wheel chair had a wife who was also in bad shape standing behind her husband. The man in the wheel chair took the bag and handed it to his wife and shook the good samaritan's hand. I felt God speak to my heart at that time. I know that we can't help every person we see physically, but I feel sometimes we under estimate the power of prayer. My prayer for the church is that we began to see people as God sees them. God sees them as human beings that He created and loved. Sometimes I feel that we see them as people to be tolerated. It is time to refocus our Spiritual Lenses.<BR><BR><BR>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Until next time, God Bless, Pastor Andrew "08"
